If you’ve landed on this page after seeing one of my viral blanket videos and then spotted the exact same video advertising on a random website for $27–$35… unfortunately, you’ve run into the same scam that’s been hitting my business hard this fall.

Here’s what’s going on 👇

🧠 The Short Version

Scammers have been stealing my videos and running thousands of fraudulent ads across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. These ads lead to copycat websites that do not sell my products. If you order from them, you’ll receive a low-quality knockoff blanket—or nothing at all.

My company, Coloring Your Own, is the only legitimate source for the original coloring blankets you’ve seen in the viral videos. Everything ships directly from Arden Hills, Minnesota.

🧵 How This Happened

• One of my videos went viral in September, showing how fun the coloring blankets are.

• Within days, scammers ripped the video and started running ads under dozens of fake storefronts.

• These sites use my content to make their listings look legitimate, then collect payments for counterfeit or poor-quality blankets.

• They’re not targeting me personally—it’s a widespread business model that preys on viral products.

I’ve reported thousands of ads to Meta, and while some get taken down, new ones pop up constantly. It’s like playing whack-a-mole with bots.

🧭 How to Make Sure You’re in the Right Place

Before you hit “checkout,” here’s how to verify you’re ordering the real deal:

1. ✅ Website URL: The only official site is coloringyourown.com.

2. ✅ Social Media Handles: @coloringyourown on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

3. ✅ Checkout Location: All legitimate orders ship from Arden Hills, MN (or from my official Australian fulfillment hub for Aussie customers).

4. ✅ Price Point: My blankets have never been discounted to $27–$35. If you see that price, it’s 100% a scam.

✍️ What I’m Doing About It

I’m taking this extremely seriously:

• I’ve filed IP infringement reports daily and have legal counsel involved.

• I’m running counter-ads to help redirect people to the real site.

• I’ve spoken with Meta support multiple times to escalate takedowns.

• I’m documenting everything for potential legal action against repeat offenders.

I also update my community regularly on TikTok and email whenever new scam patterns emerge.

💬 If You Got Scammed

If you accidentally purchased from one of these fraudulent sites:

• File a dispute with your payment provider (PayPal or credit card companies have strong buyer protection).

• Report the fake ad and website to Meta.
