OK – I know you’ve seen those generic coloring products at dollar stores or in the party sections of Target and Walmart. But let’s be real—they’re kinda mid. I took that concept and leveled it up into something you’ll actually want to color AND use—whether you’re an adult or a kid!
Problems with Generic Color-Your-Own Products:
They’re always printed with basic, thin linework. That’s fine if you like it when your markers bleed outside the lines. Coloring on fabric will bleed - its the nature of coloring on fabric. What I did was carefully design the prints to be very black-dense. The dense black designs catch the excess ink, so you get a cleaner, sharper look.
Generic Color your own products are typically printed on cream canvas which leads to lack-luster colors. Coloring your own products are printed on bright white canvas so all of the colors pop brilliantly.
